PT. Sarandi Karya Nugraha (Sarandi KN) was founded in November 12th, 1997 to manufacture hospital furniture. Growing from a home industry with two employees, Sarandi KN today with 178 skilled employees produces a wide range of quality hospital furniture for the domestic as well as export market. This significant growth is due to implementing the Company´s Strategic Focus - the manufacturing focuses only on hospital furniture and quality is a focus of each step in the manufacturing process. Throughout these early growth steps, efforts were made to involve external parties in establishing best practices, shown by many milestones. Our operations, centered in Sukabumi, West Java, early on cooperated with Astra Mitra Venture, a business and managerial development program of Indonesia´s largest listed company, Astra International. In 2003, Sarandi KN became fully licensed by the Indonesian Department of Health to produce hospital furniture as well as demonstrating its commitment to Quality Management by getting ISO 9001:2000 certified in September 2003 from TUV.
